Meet the Team

Marian Hands works at the BC Water & Waste Association as the Deputy Executive Officer, and is the lead for all Small Water Systems related projects, BCWWA Education programs and the Cross Connection Control certification. She is a seasoned professional with over 20 years' experience leading teams in high tech, healthcare and not-for-profit organizations. Her expertise includes operations, learning development, performance support, learning technologies and evaluation.

Marian's interest in the BC Small Water Systems Community Network comes from a passion for collaboration and sharing information and experiences. Within the small water systems community, this is even more critical because systems generally have less access to resources, but are still expected to provide clean, safe drinking water to their community.
